Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Who we are
Phonema is an iOS English pronunciation practice app developed by Jordi Belda (Spain). By downloading or using the app you accept these terms.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own, in accordance with the App Store rules. You may not decompile, modify or redistribute the app or its analysis model.
3. Subscription and Apple EULA
Paid features are offered as a subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled by Apple from your account settings; we do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. Where not covered here, Apple's standard EULA applies.
4. Acceptable use
The app is provided for personal learning use. Do not use it in a way that violates the law or the rights of others.
5. Not certified training
Phonema is a practice tool. Scores are generated by an automated model and are indicative only: they do not constitute an official assessment, a language-level certification, or accredited professional or educational advice.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", with no guarantee that the analysis is accurate in every case or that availability is uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing above limits the rights consumer law grants you as a user.
7. Changes
We may update these terms and the app's features. Relevant changes will be published on this page with a new date.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts competent under consumer regulations. Contact: hola@phonema.app.
